FÁLKAFELL-KJARNASKÓGUR TOUR

The route takes trails into Glerárdal near Akureyri and ride up to Fálkafell scout lodge near Akureyri town mountain Súlur, at an altitude of about 370m above sea level, built in 1932. There is a unique view of Akureyri and Eyjafjörður from Fálkafell. Then ride into Kjarnaskógur, which is one of the best outdoor areas and the pearl of Akureyri. There are good cycling routes around the area and beautiful areas to stop and explore.
